Pirates of the Caribbean

Todays blog post is not your usual traditional one . I will be reviewing a movie or should I say a series of movies but in a slight different way. 

Pirates of the Caribbean is a very expensive film , I will tell you what I mean by this in a moment!!

In fact it is one of the most expensive movies in Hollywood. Believe it or not the budget for Pirates of the Caribbean:On stranger Tides was $378.5 million. The budget for PC:At the Worlds End was $300 million.PC: Dead Man's Chest was $225 million. The total four series film made a budget of $1 billion. That’s your university fees paid off, morgage done , Luxury house on the beach, retirement money and alot of other things taken care of for a long period of time.Did I mention living like a king !!

It was also ranked 10th in highest grossing film series. The total worldwide box office it made was $3,729,577,967. thats more than a six figure number !!!

Did you know that the fantasy films were based on a ride in Walt Disney theme park ride with the same name. Besides, all these numbers being thrown around I don't think I missing out on much. I mean its a fantasy movie. Maybe if it was called 'Somalian Pirates ' I would be more interested, but that's just a personal thing!!
